Here is a simple idea that you and your team can implement that if well executed will pay big dividends for you in 2014!
It is the holidays, and what better time to reach out and CONNECT with key people in your life.
Reach out every day to 5 of your most valuable relationships.
If you do this over the next 21 days you will have connected
with 100 of the most important people in your network.
You can do this via phone, or in person if possible.
DON’T SELL, BUT RATHER:
1)Let them know how much you appreciate them (mention something specifically they have done on your behalf in the past year that has impacted you personally in some way shape or form)
2)Find out what is MOST IMPORTANT TO THEM in business as well as personally.
3)Find out what they are most EXCITED about
4)Find out what their favorite CAUSE or CHARITY is and WHY
I like to send personal notes where I share in writing something that someone
did during the past year and how it has impacted me. The holidays are a great time to dothis, and it has way more IMPACT then generic holiday cards.
If you do this, I think it will give you tremendous good will, the insights into
how to add value to the most important people in your network, and you will touch people in a very powerful way by letting them know how much you appreciate them.
